The new ground source heating system which is being installed in the Town Hall has hit major problems. After driulling the second of the proposed 4 bore holes the company hit both bedrock and water. It is unclear at this time is any further bores can be sunk or even if the second bore can be utilised. This could result in a significant downgrading of the capability of the system. The commitee are seeking advice regarding the way forward.
