Bellingham, gateway to the Northumberland National Park and capital of the North Tyne valley is steeped in border reiver history and features a fabulous grade II listed town hall.
Owned by the people of Bellingham and held in trust for them by the parish council, a small commitee of motivated local residents toil endlessly to maintain this part of local heritageby working as a local charity to raise funds to keep it open for use by the public. From dances to markets, from Bingo to leek shows, the town hall provides a heart of the town.
